A surfer named Matt

Matt Passeri is a five-time champion Argentinian surfer. He was set for another big win this month until he was disqualified when he burst into the waves with a partner riding on his back. That's against the rules, but Matt called it the greatest victory of his career. Why?

The man on his back was Nicolas Gallegos. He had dreams of becoming a professional surfer until an accident left him paralyzed at age 19. He could no longer surf, so Matt decided to help him out. He broke the contest rules by standing up with Nicolas hanging on his back and catching some waves. He said he has no regrets about giving up the title to make Nicolas' dream come true.
